Siren Chicken Tenders

Siren Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp milk

  • 2 tbsp The Siren (plus additional for brushing)

  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs

  • ½ cup flour

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil or cooking spray.

  2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir the mixture together until evenly distributed.

  3. In a separate shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and The Siren until smooth.

  4. In another shallow dish, add the panko breadcrumbs.

  5. Take each chicken tender and dredge it in the flour mixture, making sure it’s fully coated on both sides.

  6. Dip the floured chicken tender into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.

  7. Next, press the egg-coated chicken tender into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick to the chicken.

  8. Place the coated chicken tender onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat this process with all the chicken tenders.

  9. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the chicken tenders for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking for an even golden crisp.

  10. Once the chicken tenders are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the oven.

  11. Let the tenders rest for a few minutes before brushing with additional Siren.

  12. Now they’re ready to serve!
