Ingredients:
-
1 lb chicken tenders
-
1 egg
-
1 tbsp milk
-
2 tbsp The Siren (plus additional for brushing)
-
1 cup panko bread crumbs
-
½ cup flour
-
½ tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
1/2 tsp paprika
-
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
-
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil or cooking spray.
-
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir the mixture together until evenly distributed.
-
In a separate shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and The Siren until smooth.
-
In another shallow dish, add the panko breadcrumbs.
-
Take each chicken tender and dredge it in the flour mixture, making sure it’s fully coated on both sides.
-
Dip the floured chicken tender into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
-
Next, press the egg-coated chicken tender into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick to the chicken.
-
Place the coated chicken tender onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat this process with all the chicken tenders.
-
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the chicken tenders for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking for an even golden crisp.
-
Once the chicken tenders are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the oven.
-
Let the tenders rest for a few minutes before brushing with additional Siren.
-
Now they’re ready to serve!
