Ingredients:

½ cup salted butter, room temperature

½ cup For The Love of Bees (additional for topping if desired)

¼ cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon baking soda

1 cup chocolate chips
- Optional sea salt flakes for topping
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350ºF and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

In a stand mixer or large mixing bowl with an electric beater, combine the butter and For The Love of Bees and mix on high for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.

Add in the brown sugar and vanilla extract and beat on high for another minute. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula.

Add in the flour, salt, and baking soda and mix on low until fully incorporated and a dough forms.

Add in the chocolate chips and mix until just combined.

With a large 3-tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking tray approximately 2 inches apart from each other.

Bake for approximately 9-10 minutes or until the edges are a light golden brown and the center appears to be slightly under-baked.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies fully cool on the tray. Enjoy!
