Castaway Parmesan Cream Sauce

Hey guys! Chef Maria here. We've found another way to utilize Castaway as a component in you everyday cooking.

Castaway is one of the most under utilized sauces in our line (in my humble opinion). This sauce is a game changer for the food you make. Castaway parmesan sauce is great on wings, shrimp, or vegetables! 

 

Castaway Parmesan Cream Sauce

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup parmesean

1 garlic clove, minced

2 cracks black pepper

1 tbsp butter

2 tsp CASTAWAY* (or more, if desired)

Directions:

1.Melt butter in a sauté pan over med-low heat.

2. Add garlic and fresh cracked black pepper in the butter. Cook for 2 minutes until garlic is soft.

3. Add heavy cream and stir. Bring to a low simmer to thicken, 3-5 minutes.

4. Remove from heat and stir in shredded parmesan cheese.

5. Stir in DD214 or Castaway. Serve immediately.
